Your key responsibilities

Chief Accountant (CA) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization’s finances and accounting initiatives. The CA will be responsible for all finance and above all accounting related tasks. The position will report directly to the General Director (GD) and will work closely with him to prepare forecasts, to assure that planned revenue and profit is met, and to drive change and process-improvements etc.
Key responsibilities
 Book all relevant business cases in timely manner and according to local as well as group GAAP
 Take full responsibility that AR (accounts receivables), AP (accounts payables), GL (general ledger) and asset accounting are done in compliance with local and group standard and regulations
 Assure that accruals, provisions and other special bookings are recorded correctly in the respective month
 Prepare payments to local and international vendors
 Reconcile inter-company bookings/payments with the respective overseas-partners
 Liaise closely with sales- and sales-support managers on all customer related topics like overdue receivables or payment-concerns
 Streamline monthly closing process and develop internal control system
 Liaise with group-auditors, banks, tax authorities as well as tax advisors
Financial Reporting
 Prepare and submit monthly financial reporting and relevant analyses in a precise and timely manner.
 Monitoring monthly operating result against forecast and budget including analyse variances - monthly, quarterly, and annual budget highlighting key drivers and assumptions.
 Fulfil all reporting requirements from Regional and Corporate HQ in a professional manner

Our key requirements

Minimum five (5) – seven (7) years experience in accounting, ideally as chief accountant Working knowledge of accounting software; SAP and MS Office applications are a must.
