Our client is a well-known food processing company. They are the China's largest food processor, manufacturer and trader. Currently they are looking for Commercial Manager for Grains division. The purpose of the role is to increase the company’s clientele in Vietnam and set up of a distribution business in Vietnam.

Your key responsibilities

- Marketing of physical Grains/ Oilseeds/ Meal products to maximize revenue/margin
- Maintaining and developing commercial relationships with buyers
- Developing client relationship strategies and growing the business through new clients and new products if feasible
- Setting up of a commercially viable distribution business in Vietnam
- Keeping abreast of market intelligence relating to S&D changes and team up with the Research desk
- Negotiation and liaison with clients and operations team for contract execution and achieve satisfactory conclusion
- Control risk of purchasing
- Attention to the physical and operational details
- Seeking business development opportunities including potential investment

Our key requirements

- Have minimum 10 years of relevant physical trading experience in the Grains business
- Good knowledge of international commodity trading and agreements, maritime freight agreements, logistics and handling of goods, contract terms and trade finance, customs and tax legislations
- Good command of English in verbal and written form
- Good communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Good commercial acumen
- Good business ethics
