Country Manager - Cambodia

Your future employer:

A leading multinational company which specialises in labeling and packaging solution. They have manufacturing facilities and offices in various industrial zones across the country. 

They are seeking for a Country Manager lead their Cambodia business who will establish and drive the team to executve the Strategic Account plan.

Your responsibilities:

  • Suggest pricing strategy (including rebates & discounts) at factory level and provide quotations on local developments, bidding programs, new business/programs with substantial volume
  • Monitor the sales execution in the factory under the assigned district and Drive the team to exceed sales target
  • Provide coaching and training, build up the team to be the Subject-Matter-Expert on account management
  • Develop market intelligence, track competitor activities and provide these reports to the Company
  • Identify and generate sales prospects and be accountable for developing relationship with these prospects
  • Work with other commercial teams to identify opportunities, issue and provide support to ensure the company and customers' success
  • Support on customer training and propose new solutions/programs to strengthen the company's competitive advantage in the market
  • Actively participate in projects assigned and complete tasks in timely manner
  • Train and provide development opportunities for staff.  Ensure annual goals are complete and communicated.  Ensure Global Performance Management System is up to date and regular feedback is provided to staff members
  • Monitor and evaluate team members, and adjust training where needed
  • Attract, retain and develop high potential talent
  • Perform general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staff, performance appraisals, promotions and terminations.  Responsible for training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies
  • Act as a team role model and change-agent
  • Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals
  • Coordinate team efforts, create and manage a country-wise strategy and team operating plan

Your responsibilities:

  • University graduate
  • More than 6 years' experience of business development, B2B-sales management, marketing or other directly related experience
  • Evidence in achieving sales targets and business development
  • Proficient in assessing customer needs
  • Strong financial skills and business acumen
  • Knowledgeable on conducting market and territory analysis and planning

About you:

  • Fluent in English, and Mandarin (speaking & writing)
  • Be able to handle and control challenging negotiations
  • Good problem solving skills and have strong Risk Management
  • Proactive and result-oriented with good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Travels may be required between Vietnam and Cambodia
