Director, Consulting & Analytics

Job Description

They are looking for a Director, Consulting & Analytics who undertake consulting engagements for the company's clients for both Vietnam and Cambodia markets, enabling portfolio growth and improved profitability in the company's payment business.

Your responsibilities:

  • Draw on your deep domain knowledge and expertise to provide recommendations to clients, work that will enable enduring, strategic relationships with our clients
  • Identify and surface opportunities for client projects and submit for inclusion into plans
  • Design performance solutions to client requirements, striving for innovative and efficient approaches
  • Undertake client projects, including project road mapping, client interviewing, analytical review of inputs, structuring of recommendations, report writing
  • Bring deep subject matter expertise to bear in undertaking engagements such as portfolio strategy, portfolio diagnostics, and Acquisition and Loyalty program health checks
  • Create, develop and maintain models, contribute to IP creation and standardized the company's offerings
  • Conceive and brief to the Analytics team projects including segmentation, propensity models, and other intelligent targeting solutions

Our key requirements:

  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
  • Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities 
  • Experience in and passion for the power of analytics to inform and drive strategy and tactics, and proven ability to generate insights from data
  • Language skills – English and Vietnamese written and verbal skills.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in retail banking, card issuing or consulting to retail banks
  • Some consulting experience preferred with project management and/or process re-engineering credentials helpful
  • Experience in payment card portfolio management and cardholder marketing
  • Understanding of card issuers’ P&L and critical factors

  • Must be team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, able to work effectively in matrixed organization
  • You will have gained a variety of experience in the payments industry, including card issuing, and be passionate about an aspect that you have gained deeper expertise in, be it loyalty, product, credit risk, operations or another vertical
  • You will comfortably pivot from strategy development to program execution
  • Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
  • Confident meeting and facilitation skills
  • Ability to negotiate with senior executives
  • Intellectual versatility, able to traverse domain topics
