A leading consumer, Pharmaceutical & Medical Devices multinational company is currently looking for a Head of Market Access to be based in Ho Chi Minh city office to support their Sales and Marketing team to go to market. 

Your responsibilities:

  • Report to the Managing Director and responsible for establishing and implementing the market access strategy for current and future medicinal products (drugs and medical devices) of our company in Vietnam. This strategy extends to reimbursement on the national level and market access on the level of health insurers and at the hospital/institution levels
  • Ensure access for patients to our innovations, in which the balance between medical outcomes, patient experience and costs play a major role. Your role is to focus on the level of the national authorities care institutions (Hospitals and MoH
  • Monitor the legal and procedural requirements regarding reimbursement and for managing the documentation and administration needed to do this with
  • Build trust relationship and closed working with key stakeholders on developing overall strategy to expand market access of key products, key therapeutic areas
  • APF monitoring, coordinating collaboration across BUs on market access programs, especially in public market
  • Work closely with Field Force and marketing teams to identify critical outcomes research needs in order to optimize market access and develop tools and materials to access and engage public and private payers’ interaction
  • Identify the gaps and opportunities
  • Work with Global/Regional team for access strategy
  • Liaise with local, regional and global pricing functions in pricing strategy
  • Prepare guidance for Price negotiation and assist BUs
  • Work on PE,cost effectiveness with internal stakeholder to find out and utilize to support for brand
  • Leader for Public PAPs management and other Pts access solution
  • Functional access strategy(Headcounts, structure, competences, etc)
  • Collaboration and alignment with Government Affairs, Public policy

Our key requirements:

  • Degree on Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or Medicine) and Marketing
  • Postgraduate qualification or relevant experience on Health Economics and/or postgraduate Master in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • Languages: English and Vietnamese 
  • Progressive experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry (>7 years)
  • Preferred with experience of interacting, collaborating and building relationships with both external and internal Market Access stakeholders
  • Is a very good internal and external communicator
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with strong presentation skills
