Job Description
  • HR business partner position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. 
  • Serve as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues and will act as an employee champion and change agent. 
  • Assess and anticipate HR-related needs. 
  • Formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. 
  • HRBP may include international human resource responsibilities. 
  • Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position, its mid-range plans, its culture and its competition.
 
Requirements
  • Support weekly meetings with respective business units.
  • Consult with line management, provide HR supports when appropriate.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
  • Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provide performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) when appropriated.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.

Additional Job Information
  • University graduation
  • 5 -7 years of working experience in human resources management
  • Experience in FMCG or F&B industries would be highly preferable.
