A leading multi-country plasterboard producer in Asia with 21 manufacturing sites across China, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, Vietnam, India and Malaysia. Their key business is producing plasterboard ceiling tiles and suspension systems, metal framing, jointing compounds and industrial plasters.

Your key responsibilities

You will be responsible for planning and controlling the activities of the South Retail Sales team to:
- Ensure the attainment of the objectives of distribution, brand visibility, sales volume and Contribution Margin for all categories
- Identify opportunities for sales growth in the short and medium term
- Guarantee collection of accounts receivables; (d) establish the company as a trusted supplier and business partner

Other responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage the South Retail sales force to deliver the Regional’s growth and sales objectives, i.e. sales budget, distribution, merchandising/visibility, and accounts receivable, customer service, contribution target, etc.
- Successfully plan and implement the department’s sales plans and other business strategies, plans by analyzing past/current results and by extensively knowing the market situation and through the use of accurate sales information and statistics
- Build an organized and qualified sales team, keeping constantly in touch with them, and monitoring their work performances through actual working sessions and/or salesmen’s activity reports
- Motivate the sales team and keep them excited about their work through “ leadership by example” personalized training/ work with sessions, regular/periodical performance evaluation, and holding of regular sales meetings
- Conduct regular fieldwork and store check and determine the effectiveness of Sales or Marketing initiated programs and promotions, check competitive activity, assess distribution and merchandising, determine management of the major accounts, and recommend to management appropriate Sales or Marketing indicated actions
- Maintain leadership in related systems / products / solutions and services in metro area through effective utilization of selling tools and all support materials to sell and promote the company's products and services
